How
sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to
my mouth! I gain understanding from your
precepts; therefore I hate every wrong path.
Our church slogan for 2012
is….. “In God’s Word I will Delve, In 2012”
My message last Sunday was to
challenge God’s people to go deeper in their faith—actually to make God number
one—to seek Him first.
A large number of people
responded on Sunday.
At bible study last night, we
continued our study on the cross of Christ.
We actually had fewer people
last night, than we did the week before.
So it begs the question: Are
God’s Words really sweet to our taste? Do we really hate every wrong
path?
Sometimes I have to
wonder.
To “Delve”, means….. to
dig as with a spade; to make careful and detailed search for
information; to examine a subject in detail
How careful is your search
for the riches of God? How closely are you examining the subject of
God?
Maybe you need to take your
spade, and start digging in this New Year. Why not start, by first examining the
cross—the place where Christ, died for you
