1 Timothy 4:
16
Watch
your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will
save both yourself and your
hearers.
Paul,
during his instructions to Timothy, tells him to watch his life and
doctrine.
How often
do we step back and see what our lives look like, through the eyes of
God?
Do you
even have a doctrine that you closely follow? Do you know what it
is?
I often
ask people….. “Do you even believe in, what you say you believe
in?”
The way
we live our life, will not only save our soul, but it will also save other
souls.
Do you
see that as a part of your life? What a
responsibility!
“Persevere”; to persist in an
undertaking—in spite of opposition
When you
said yes to Jesus, you began the most important undertaking in your
life.
And make
no mistake, you will face opposition……..
Matthew 24: 13
“but he who stands firm to
the end will be saved
