Matthew 16:
33
"I have told you these
things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble.
But take heart! I have overcome the world."
Jesus promised
trouble.
We must understand, that some
of the trouble that comes into our lives, is self induced.
The trouble Jesus is talking
about, comes to those who are true followers of His plan of
redemption.
What kind of trouble do you
have today in your life?
If it’s self induced, then
maybe you need to find a quiet place today—get down on your knees—and ask for
God’s total and perfect forgiveness.
Then after you do that, you
must turn away or repent of the trouble you’ve gotten yourself
into.
Seems simple enough—and it
is!
If on the other hand, the
trouble you have has come because of your true confession of Christ, then count
yourself honored to suffer that kind of affliction.
Here’s the best news of the
day……….Jesus has overcome any old trouble this world can dish
out!
The only peace we’ll ever
have, is the peace that comes by being in Him.
