Empty Barns

Proverbs 3: 9 – 10
Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

Did you ever stop to think, how we’re doing as a nation, at honoring God?

America spends the following on the various commodities each year:
Soda—$73.9 billion
Candy—$6 billion
Cigarettes—$42 billion
Alcohol—$100 billion

Guess how much food, America wastes each year?
160 billion pounds!

The evangelical, protestant church gives in offerings, some $4 billion dollars annually.
It’s no wonder so many of our barns are empty…………
