Never changing

James 1: 17 – 18

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created.

 

I don’t know about you, but if I don’t hear the word “recall” for a long—long time, I will be greatly satisfied.

I’m so glad that Jesus chose you and me to give birth to the Word of truth. Do you see your life that way?

 

Once chosen by God, there is no chance to be recalled, because we will have this insatiable desire to produce His created fruit.

Even as people gather at the polls today, I take comfort in the fact, that the One who has given us every good and perfect gift, does not change.

He is the same, yesterday, today and forever! Who wouldn’t vote for someone like that?

 

I’m not saying that we shouldn’t go to the polls today to exercise our right, but remember that God does have everything in His control.

There is no need to get caught up in the moment, because from the very foundations of the earth, God knew what we would struggle with.

 

Remember—our God does not change like shifting shadows.

You can depend on Him, and that’s what I’m going to do today………………
