Proverbs 19:
21
Many are the plans in a man's
heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.
As we all begin a new week, I wonder
how many of us have plans in mind?
We’re planners for sure. We plan
meetings and meals and appointments and school activities.
Doesn’t it seem foolish, that a
majority of our plans don’t often include God?
The Word says, that in the end, His
purpose prevails, even if we’ve made too many plans for us to
manage.
As you take some of your first steps
today, maybe you need to carve out some time for the God who put this day in
motion in the first place.
I wonder what might happen to your
plans, if you consulted the One who’s purpose is going to prevail
anyway?
