Week Of Remembrance

Ecclesiastes 7: 20              ESV
20 Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins.

Once in a while you hear someone say something spiritual, and you just have to write it down.
On February 22nd of this year, someone said something worth repeating.

A great friend of mine said... “Man has a higher opinion of themselves, than they even have of God.
Some folks find great displeasure when you refer to them as a sinner.

But that’s what we are, according to the Bible.
The Bible actually says, there isn’t one righteous man who never sins.

That’s why I hold so closely to this Holy week, and the observance of God’s expression of love for His people.
Without the cross, there would never be any hope for righteousness.

I go to church with some pretty Godly people, but none of them are without sin.
As much as we all travel through the periods of sanctification, we all still fall short.

What’s your opinion of yourself? Does it need to be tempered? Then look no further than the cross.
I can’t speak for you, but I sure do need someone to save me, from me.

As you start this week of remembrance, what will provoke you to even consider God’s deep love for you?

If any of us still think we are without sin, then we actually have deceived ourselves...
