2 Corinthians 10:
3
3 For though we walk in the
flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh.
Spiritual
warfare is a reality.
For those
who don’t think so, you should probably look deeper into the
subject.
Just because
they didn’t teach it in catechism, doesn’t mean it doesn’t
exist.
Even St.
Paul waged war against the enemy of darkness on a regular
basis.
Most
followers of Christ, entrenched in truly letting their light shine, should’ve
experienced warfare by now.
Following
Jesus is not without warfare.
That’s why
St. Paul said it was so important to put on the full armor of God. (Ephesians
6)
Check out
the account when Moses, and the nation of God’s people, were at war. (Exodus
17)
We can war
against the enemy with intelligence, as long as we depend on the power of Christ
within us.
Victory can
only come, in Jesus’ name.
Maybe the
reason we’re taking it on the chin so much, could be because we haven’t engaged
the enemy.
The only way
to do that, is by the precious blood of the Lamb
