Romans 15:
4
For everything that was written in the past was
written to teach us, so that through endurance and the
encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
As I
travel this unsteady path day by day, the one thing I know I need, is endurance
and encouragement.
The
Bible tells us that when we have both, we have hope. That’s the
outcome.
Who is
our teacher? God Himself.
The
longer I walk with God, and the more I learn from Him, the more I know that
walking with Him day by day, is not for the weak at heart.
Too
many people now days, give up long before they have a chance to learn some
valuable lessons from God.
Endurance is moving forward, regardless of the
hardships in learning.
There
are times when God reveals things to me, that I’d just as soon He’d share with
someone else.
God
never wastes a moment. At times, what God is trying to teach us, may be hard to
learn.
There
are moments, when God’s truth is meant to encourage me, when in fact it might
give me a bad attitude.
The
truth can sometimes do that.
I do
know this one thing; People are watching me as I travel through teachable
moments.
I
wonder how often they see me with a willing heart to learn? I wonder how often
they see endurance playing out?
Everything that has happened in the spirit realm for
all these generations, was to teach us something.
What
we do with the information, shows that we have the strength and endurance to
walk this walk of faith, or not.
“Father God, thank You for the many teaching
provisions you have made for me—even if I’ve been slow to
learn.
Thank you too, that I’ve been able to find endurance,
especially when I’ve needed it the most. Amen”
