Proverbs 3: 9
Honor the LORD with your
wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then
your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats
will brim over with new wine.
Once in a while I get to browse some social networks sights.
One of the common themes among Christians seems to be…..
“Stop Playing Church” or …. “The Lord is My Provider”
Do you know where most so called believers, play church?
It’s when the offering basket is passed. The Lord is our
provider—but most don’t ever give Him the chance.
According to giving statistics in America, only 5% of
confessed Christians in this country, actually tithe.
If people are really right with God, then why should giving
be down in most churches?
It’s because people are not right with God, and are actually
playing church.
Giving is not down because of a bad economy, or because we
pay almost $4.00 per gallon of gas—it’s because people are disobedient to God.
Most folks are more concerned about gun control, than they
are about doing what’s right in the Father’s eyes.
I know this hits pretty close to the vest, with many so
called Christians—but one can’t argue with the truth.
And the truth will set us free?
It will, if the truth is what we’re really after……….
